What is Christ’s Co-Mission and how does Prime Meridian Opportunities fit into this?

CCMission is led by Christian volunteers who are called to join together with Christians globally to impact the world for the risen Lord and to develop long-term economic solutions for the destitute based on Kingdom principles. With godly individuals, in 2002, we established CCMission’s affiliate, Prime Meridian Opportunities (officially registered as Ghanaian Ministry G10,705). PMO receives resources through CCMission. PMO enterprises are created to employ poor Christians and to apply revenue that PMO earns in Ghana to help support PMO’s Loved By Jesus School, outreaches, etc. This will allow sustained ministry without ongoing dependence upon donors, as well as more opportunity for expansion.

Who funds Christ’s Co-Mission & Prime Meridian Opportunities?

We believe that where God guides, He provides. This includes provision of His strength, His resources, and clarity of His will. Originally, the funding came primarily from three individuals. As we became less able to shoulder this responsibility ourselves, the Lord has put on the hearts of a number of individuals the desire to participate. Gifts have ranged from a few dollars, to contributions of $400-$600, to a few of over $1,000. A significant development came in early-2003 when an intercessor felt led of the Lord to give $40/month to pay the salary of one of the staff in Ghana. Her faithful contributions have multiplied as other individual “Partners” have also been led to supply $35 - $50 - $200 each month for teacher salaries and various developmental needs. There are almost no U.S. administrative overhead expenses. We are grateful for this opportunity and privilege to love and come-along-side-of those in West Africa for whom the Lord cares so much. There have been times when we have barely achieved the $750/month minimum we need to continue operating, yet we can gratefully testify that the mission has no debt and meets its payroll every month. Where God guides, He provides!

How can I assist?

The faithful prayers of those who receive our Monthly Updates have been crucial. Our primary need is for the Lord to help us identify and raise up Trustworthy, Teachable & Industrious Christians in Ghana who can impact the Kroboland with the love of Christ and with the culture of His Kingdom. We also welcome and will faithfully handle contributions for the following:

• Two-seater hardwood student desks for Loved By Jesus School ($28 each)
• Concrete floors for classrooms ($150/each) and other LBJS renovations ($400++)
• Capital Investments for job development ($1,500+)
• Monthly support for a teacher ($35 - $55/mo.) and Part-time employment for local pastors ($10 - $30/mo.)
• General needs & possibilities ($15 to $15,000)
• Shipping costs for computers, tools, bikes, educational materials, etc. (almost $2/lb)
