Thank you for praying for Loved By Jesus School staffing needs. Nothing is easy in Ghana but God has provided all of our needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus. We have some very special new staff members. A very welcome blessing is that some of our previous school staff periodically return to help us raise up the new staff.

What a pleasant surprise when LBJS students won the inter-school football (soccer) championship.
It was quite a blessing for us to hear the name "Loved By Jesus" amplified to the multitudes who were present.


2008 Newsletters

Third Qtr 2008, Newsletter #37
A new school year is underway in Odumase-Krobo. The Lord has
blessed the mission with a fine teaching staff this semester and over 70 new students.

Second Qtr 2008, Newsletter #36
Loved By Jesus School, supported by so many of you, grew to over 300 students this past school year.
We ask that you remember us in prayer as we open a new school year.

First Qtr 2008, Newsletter #35

The shipment arrived in Odumase-Krobo, Ghana having passed through severe rains that day.
Although dark clouds had surrounded the school, by God’s grace we were able to offload and
secure the contents without the storm affecting us at all.

Fourth Qtr 2007, Newsletter #34

The Lord has added one hundred students to the Loved By Jesus School family. What a
blessing recently to hear staff members say, “We can do it !” when asked if they could replicate
loving and creative teaching methods exemplified by some US guests.

Third Qtr 2007, Newletter #33

The Lord’s presence is increasingly evident in the mission in Ghana. The third quarter of 2007 has
brought amazing developments. Two hundred and forty students completed the school year in August
and parents have become increasingly supportive.

On January 28th, mission Member and leader of Loved By Jesus School,
Samuel Datsomor, passed away. Samuel, only thirty years old, has left a
legacy. His love for the Lord, faithfulness, graciousness and passion to see
others be all God created them to be, will truly be missed!

As 2006 comes to a close, the Lord longs to guide each of us throughout 2007.
His ways are always the best.
"By day You led them with a pillar of cloud, and by night with a pillar of fire
to give them light on the way they were to take."

September-October 2006, Newsletter #29
A new academic year is underway at Loved By Jesus School. By God’s grace,
we completed last year with 190 students. The Executive Council has
approved the addition of a pre-school class which we are now developing.

Your prayers, God’s grace, and the faithfulness of the Mission staff in Ghana
are impacting lives. Ministry in “the desperate land of the Krobos” is always
a challenge, and yet spiritual maturity is increasingly evident among mission
staff, students, and teachers.

Our first LBJS Open Day was an exciting time for both children & school staff.
Mrs. Anne Annable from CT was one of the speakers and communicated
the importance of living out our school’s name – Loved By Jesus.

Over one hundred people have been used by the Lord to accomplish
the sending of CCMI's first container to West Africa.
The Lord blessed with miracle upon miracle.

Febuary-March 2006, Newsletter #25

In the U.S., the Lord has put it on Mrs. Anne Annable’s heart to serve with us in Ghana
from February into June. Anne is an experienced teacher and will teach students daily
at Loved By Jesus School.

January 2006, Newsletter #24

A significant focus for 2006 will be to further increase the involvement of Ghana mission
Members in prayerful planning and implementation as God leads us.
Together, we aim to “make disciples of all nations”, teaching loving obedience to Jesus.

We praise the Lord for the following information just received from the US
and Ghanaian governments: 
The IRS states: "We have determined that you are exempt ...
Contributions to you are deductible".*
The Ghanaian government writes of our affiliate PMO that it is "satisfied"
with its aims and objectives of rendering selfless social service to humanity
and mankind and declares it to be officially authorised to operate an N.G.O. in Ghana.

On April 16th CCMI held our first Annual Breakfast for Partners & guests. New Partners joined
(note: a CCMI Volunteer Involvement Opportunities form is available by request)
and several inquired about possibly going to the foreign mission field.

The harmattan is a hot, dust-laden wind that blows into West Africa from the Sahara.
In February, there had been no rain for weeks in Odumase-Krobo, and now there was no running water.

As David spends February and early March in West Africa, he will share about the recent tsunami
devastation and provide opportunity for Ghanaians to offer their “widow’s mite” to those whose loss is great.
