A new academic year is underway at Loved By Jesus School. By God’s grace, we completed last year with 190 students. The Executive Council has approved the addition of a pre-school class which we are now developing.

Your prayers, God’s grace, and the faithfulness of the Mission staff in Ghana are impacting lives. Ministry in “the desperate land of the Krobos” is always a challenge, and yet spiritual maturity is increasingly evident among mission staff, students, and teachers.

Our first LBJS Open Day was an exciting time for both children & school staff. Mrs. Anne Annable from CT was one of the speakers and communicated the importance of living out our school’s name – Loved By Jesus.

Over one hundred people have been used by the Lord to accomplish the sending of CCMI's first container to West Africa. The Lord blessed with miracle upon miracle.

In the U.S., the Lord has put it on Mrs. Anne Annables heart to serve with us in Ghana from February into June. Anne is an experienced teacher and will teach students daily at Loved By Jesus School.

A significant focus for 2006 will be to further increase the involvement of Ghana mission Members in prayerful planning and implementation as God leads us. Together, we aim to make disciples of all nations, teaching loving obedience to Jesus.

We praise the Lord for the following information just received from the US and Ghanaian governments: The IRS states: "We have determined that you are exempt ... Contributions to you are deductible".* The Ghanaian government writes of our affiliate PMO that it is "satisfied" with its aims and objectives of rendering selfless social service to humanity and mankind and declares it to be officially authorised to operate an N.G.O. in Ghana.

On April 16th CCMI held our first Annual Breakfast for Partners & guests. New Partners joined (note: a CCMI Volunteer Involvement Opportunities form is available by request) and several inquired about possibly going to the foreign mission field.

The harmattan is a hot, dust-laden wind that blows into West Africa from the Sahara. In February, there had been no rain for weeks in Odumase-Krobo, and now there was no running water.
